Based in Newton-le-Willows and looking after a single-site specialist school, you’ll be providing that quality FM service in an organisation who have devoted themselves to the education and development of autistic young people for over 50 years. The mission? To break down barriers and raise aspirations.

What your role will look like:
Day to day, you’ll lead the operation by supporting the Projects and Facilities Manager with premises development and site management, creating a safe space for students, staff and visitors. You can expect your duties to be roughly based around;

  • Effectively and efficiently managing site resources
  • Proactively developing the premises to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation
  • Leading and managing a small team (domestic and maintenance operatives)
  • Ensuring a safe working and learning environment in accordance with relevant legislation

Who are we looking for?:
You’re a skilled and committed Facilities Manager with the ability to lead a team. You should hold an IOSH and therefore have a strong understanding of H&S legislation.

We’d love to speak with you if you’ve worked in similar settings previously, however we’re open to whatever industry you may have worked in before – it’s just as important that you have a positive work ethic, great people skills and the ability to be reactive and flexible.

A driving licence with access to your own vehicle and a full DBS check is essential for this role.
